Slasher - DP, Editor and Colorist

Kami is a Hong Kong based cinematographer, editor and colorist. Recently moved to Greater Toronto Area via open working permit for accepting new challenges.

Kami has participated in videography for nearly 8 years and started his cinematography career in 2015. He joined the department of Chinese news and current affair in Radio Television Hong Kong as a local news and feature story’s cameraman. With multiple years of experience, he left RTHK with well-developed skill on visual story telling and started participated in short-films.

During 2017 to 2019, Kami participated in different project as Director, Cinematographer, Editor and Colorist, including both awarded short-film “PANAM 98” (as an Assistant Director, Editor and Colorist,) and “Venus” (as a Director, Editor and Colorist) under government’s fund programme from HKSAR, during his study in CityU for bachelor of art degree.

Kami graduated in mid 2019 and facing the rapid change in Hong Kong. He decided to participated in current affair once again to eyewitness the history – Anti-ELAB Movement. Benefited to the previous experience in current affair, he able to capture crucial moment of the movement for the media.

After 2019, Kami continued to focus on visual story telling, involved and produced variety of TVCs, feature stories, etc. Including one awarded short-film, “#TBC” as an Editor and a Colorist. With the strengths and experiences in production field, Kami continue to cooperate with different director as different position in the future.
