Andy Dean Photography
Hello. I’m Andy Dean.
Thanks for visiting.
I’ve been a professional photographer and since the mid 80’s. While I thought shooting FILM was a blast, digital photography has added such an instantaneous reward. As a graphic designer for over 20 years I found that I could shoot my own imagery and concepts. Soon came more and more client requests, and away we went. It’s all been very exciting and rewarding.
My photography portfolio is quite diverse. I am always adding to my very popular conceptual green road sign and real estate collections, but many other categories are growing as well: food and related, healthcare and medical, diverse couples, studio and vector illustrations, etc. This diversity in my portfolio certainly keeps the wind in my sails.
My current equipment: We are currently using the Canon 5D Mark IV, Mark III, Mark II and the Canon 40D as back-up. My lenses are the Canon 100-400mm, 85mm f/1.2, a 24-105mm, an 18-50mm, 28-135mm, 16-35mm wide angle, a 100mm Macro and a 70-200mm f4 lenses. We have an ever-growing collection of studio equipment: Alien Bees strobes, Westcott and Alien Bees soft-boxes, reflectors (store bought and homemade), stands, backdrops and a bunch of other odd and ends. We can’t ever seem to have enough. We also tether to my 17” Apple MacBook Pro whenever possible during studio work. My post production work-flow consists of Adobe’s Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator and Bridge. The dictionary and thesaurus are always at my side as well for those elusive, but oh so important, keywords.
Thanks for visiting. Good luck with your ventures. I hope you find some of our images useful. Please let me know if you have any special requests.
