3D Modeling, Photography and more

I was an electrician on F/A-18’s (A-F) while in the Navy. I’m a Ph.D. dropout from the Aerospace Engineering department at the Illinois Institute of Technology (specializing in flow stability and transition to turbulence) with a minor in Thermodynamics. I worked as a senior research engineer at a Chicago area manufacturer of nozzles for both the agricultural and industrial market segments. I worked in my lab as well as spending a lot of time traveling the U.S. as well as the world to work and solve problems in the customers’ typical environment. This gave me the opportunity to learn an awful lot about many and varied industries; from snowmaking to pharmaceuticals, to the heavy industries (paper, steel, etc.). I’ve designed many prototypes while working. I used Autodesk Inventor, Mechanical Desktop and am now using Autodesk Fusion 360. I’ve played around in Sketchup but that’s about it there. I’ve also worked with various different types of analysis software and am familiar with Fortran, Pascal, Assembly, and Labview. I am now trying to learn all this interweb stuff like HTML5, CSS, C#, PHP, etc. In 2012 I started my own commercial photography business. I still design things just because I guess I just need to design things. Hoping to build my own mini CNC machine very soon. I am working on items and ideas for the wondrous world of drones with all of their capabilities and more importantly, POSSIBILITIES! I am also adroit in Adobe RAW, Lightroom, and Photoshop. So if anyone has a need for something specific please let me know. I’ll do a little research to see what the Envato demographic might be interested in where my skill set can be of greatest use. Hope to see you early and hope to see you often.
