Some of the 268 steps up to the Tian Tan Buddha near the Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island, Hong Kong. The statue is 34m (112 ft) tall, weighs over 250 metric tons and was constructed from 202 bronze pieces. Surrounding it are six smaller bronze statues known as ‘The Offering of the Six Devas’.
