The king. Seagulls are the kings and queens of the beach and the California coastline.They are a beautiful bird that most locals don’t appreciate (becuase they are terrific scavengers and use that skill to get into people’s bags of food!) I love them though. Very regal and they remind me of the ocean. You don’t see these birds except for the coastlines. Coastlines remind me of vacations and Summers and good, happy, family times, so the association is easy.
