The Moon and Planet Jupiter! The bright blue star just above the shining moon is the planet Jupiter! Visible in the night skies on August 28, 2020. Astronomy lovers, Astrologists and Star Gazers alike were treated to a beautiful, cloudy night sky. Four of Jupiter’s moons are also visible, using binoculars, arrayed like tiny stars near the giant planet.
