Night, Night, Kitty, Kitty! My beautiful, 17 year old female Calico cat has become senile, according to her veterinarian. She gets lost in the dark at night, even in a compact area, and screams and cries trying to find me. So for security, I have started to crate her at night, in a large bathroom with the door shut and a night light on. This has helped her relax, and the last three nights she has put herself to bed in her crate by herself. I just make sure she has food, water and her litter box clean.
