Wounded, abandoned and sick bears of all ages are rescued, and brought to the sanctuary for care. They are separated by size, to ensure cubs are safe from full grown males. Food, health care and a steady diet, creates a safe environment for the bears to be nursed back to health. This one is snuggling against a tree, very comfortable and relaxed.
