Why Did We Build APPTA? Aren’t there already a ton of WordPress themes available? It’s no doubt a valid question, and it’s true there are already thousands of WordPress themes on the market. From free solutions to paid solutions and everything in-between.
But you have to remember something… being the first doesn’t matter. Ok, now you’re thinking of course it does! Look at Google.
In fact, Google was years late to the search engine party with MSN, AOL, Yahoo! and others launching first. Just as Facebook was not the first social network!
To be the best, you don’t have to be the first. But really, why did we build APPTA ?
Well for the first 10 years at APP INC we were building websites for businesses and users like you. We found it difficult to find reliable themes that we could use as a good base and ones that didn’t regularly break on updating.
In the end we knew we could do better, we became sick of the back-and-forth process of testing updates on staging and them breaking as the developer hadn’t tested their release.
There were also the lack of customization options, performance issues and general lack of quality themes we could use.
