Lake Elementaita is a shallow, alkaline soda lake in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, renowned for its diverse birdlife and abundant algae. Located between Lakes Naivasha and Nakuru, it’s a key breeding ground for various bird species, particularly flamingos and pelicans, and a feeding ground for many others. The lake also supports a variety of terrestrial wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and elands, found in the Soysambu Conservancy.
