The image was made in Tihany in Hungary last summer when we visited the lavender fields. The only place most Hungarians see lush lavender fields is on computer desktops and tacky book covers, so it is hardly surprising that the Old Lavender Field of Tihany is somewhat of a hidden Hungarian gem.
