Earth Day will be celebrated in the US, Canada & around the world on Monday, April 22, 2019 – marking its 48th anniversary. Earth Day 2019 Theme for this year’s observance is “Save Species”. Because of expected habitat loss caused by climate change, the polar bear is classified as a vulnerable species. Zoos are saving Polar Bears, but Climate Change is a serious problem for Earth.
