YouTube - question about a video

Hi guys, hope you are all well

I have a question for you and want to hear you experience and advices regarding the matter.
Here goes my question, is there any way to get your video back on your YouTube chanell after it was deleted by YT team?

Thing is a customer of mine posted a comment on one of my project saying that he/she can’t download the project. I always try to reply to ALL of the e-mails and comments as soon as I can. Anyway customer has engaged the RAGE mode since I didn’t reply to the comment right away. I mean for God sakes, first of all it’s Holiday time so we all do something besides sitting constantly in front of our workstations.

It didn’t stop at leaving a comments such as these:

- PLEASE dont buy from this site they are thiefs !!!! tommorow you will speak with my lower !!!

- you are very good shop ! you took the money and i didnt get nothing !!!!!

Customer went and flagged the preview for the project at YT and the video has been removed as a violation of YouTube’s policy against spam, scams, and commercially deceptive content. Commercially deceptive content? Suuuure.

So, is there a way to get the video back, it had 30+k views, nothing special but nonetheless.

Did you try to contact the youtube support? I think it is possible to recover videos.

Interesting why did youtube do this without contacting you first? You’ve the right to defend yourself and I am sure you can easily prove non of the accusations are true. I guess the only way is contacting them, hopefully they can restore the file and its statistics.

BTW – youtube offers a very interesting tool but only if you are approved by staff. It allows you to report multiple copyright violations (like accounts with free download links for our files..). Since a background check has already been done to you, youtube removes the reported content immediately, no further investigations. Unfortunately they seem to keep it for larger companies with more serious business. I got rejected.

Meanwhile I see links to vh files which were clicked 10K times..

THIS IS MADNESS ! I am trying to remove 10 videos with my videos with “nice” link in the description and I CANT !!! for half a year now ?! WTF , d3luxxe mate Please contact the support i`ll be really happy if everything has happy end because this is not fair. I hope the support of Envato will send to youtube email to explain the situation

Contact the Youtube support they will bring your video back 100%.

Just tell them everything in the email and i don’t see why wouldn’t they activate the video again…

Yep, no contact what so ever. And they removed the video really fast, everything happened in hour or two (comments on the item page and video removal from YT). Thing I don’t understand is that the video was a preview for a project, first line in the description is the link to that project, did they at least bothered to look at the video in question before they decided it was thing of a deceptive nature?

Dobri, I haven’t heard of that tool. Can you please send me a link so I can try too apply? I would gladly take down all those “juicy-delicious” links to files I find, yours (everyone’s) and mine of course
Makes me wonder how come Envato doesn’t have such a arrangement with YouTube? It is ridiculously easy to find those links
If a 3yr old ate a cookie and is playing with crumbles on a keyboard I bet the kid will find some VH “freebies” – Yo daddy how come you don’t have Motion Profile in your collection, I am downloading that SH.T now

I was thinking of shutting down my YT account, for example if I am not mistaken Mario (elements) switched to Vimeo long time ago, dropped the whole YT thing.

I stopped uploading videos to tube. Focused on vimeo, which is for us, designers a lot better

Hey guys, just letting you know that my YT account is suspended as of this moment

Reason – multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s policy against spam, scams and commercially deceptive content.
This is far from a valid reason, those guys must be blind. Each video had a link where you can get the projects legally.

Well, this sucks, really dissapointed
I was 100k views short of a 1mil views…
