Grr… I need a new flash poll (I’ve bought most of the ones here, but I need one w/o mysql setup), so I bought a 3rd party .swf-only from a different vendor, and it phones home to a tracking service whenever I use it! That’s “reason #7144 I like buying all my flash sources here”, so I can mod the .flas and see what’s in the a/s w/o using a decompiler/obscured code overcome etc.
If you guys keep at it w/flash polls and interactive widgets, I’m sure you’ll sell a lot (polls are popular)... anyways that’s just one more reason I value FD and buy here daily, you guys rock. No spyware is important.

I have plans to make a flash content managed polling system, but not until the back end of the year.

You could use php with flash to update an xml file with poll results I guess? What was the tracker? Mochibot? I would’nt call that spyware, its used to find out where your swf is being used on the internet to prevent piracy among other things.
hi – right re the tracker; what’s bad is the tracker’s url shows up in the status bar often, which is basically free advertising for them, and since it’s an outbound signal from my server, I consider that malware.

if you are still in need of such an application, i can develop for you
something with php that reads-writes to .xml or plain .txt file
