Exactly what the titles asks. I think both would be cool so I though about working on them but before I do there needs to be some interest. What do you think?![]()
Would love to see what you got going. Nothing official here, just trying to help out
Bump*
So I already got some toolbar stuff done and it’s already been helpful. I got podcasts integrated for workawesome and marketplaces. Feeds for new items and forums. Custom search bar for searching marketplace items and that’s it for now.
Lookin’ pretty good so far and if you want I can give you the link for it even though there isn’t much there, the toolbar updates in real-time as I update it so doesn’t matter when you get it.
I think this could help save everyone a lot of time.
If you hate toolbars that’s fine. There is a version that’s just a single icon in your browser, click it and the toolbar opens, click out of it and it closes.
Anyways, thought I’d post an update on this idea.

Keep in mind that a lot of stuff hasn’t been done yet but it’ll update as I update. You may have to refresh the toolbar to get updates and you can do that in the dropdown on the logo.
Currently you can only see new items and Forum Updates from TF. The other marketplaces have been added but nothing added to them.
I won’t be working on it religiously so updates may be sporadic. Where it is now, it’s still nice to even have just the podcasts 1 click away.
Using this toolbar will help with increased development of it. If you forget about it, it won’t make any money and updating it may be.
Instead of making a toolbar from scratch and asking for donations to help with development, I decided to just use Conduit and cover some of the costs by generating the revenue they give you based on how many users download and actually use the toolbar. This way the toolbar is free for all to use and I can still get compensated for my time.
Enjoy!

I just thought i’d let you know that you are not allowed to use the name “Envato” in the title of your toolbar, or any application for that matter. Also the text of the aforementioned page seems very much like it is ‘Envato’ . You will definitely need to change the title of the theme and the wording of the page to make it seem less like an official toolbar.
Nice idea though… But you definately need to get the above sorted out

Any suggestions? Because the toolbar just isn’t the same if it’s not called Envato. I’ve made it clear on the app page that this is the unofficial version though.
Also it’s not a commercial product. I’m making it mainly for my own use and just making it available for others in the community.
Maybe I’ll get in touch with Jefferey and see what he thinks about it.

Haven’t got any suggestions for a new name, maybe you could take a look at this document to make sure you don’t miss anything out

I renamed it as un-official on the download page
