The devs are working on adding in some additional help text to guide you through the swift form and we’ll also add in some client side validation in the near future.

The reason we updated the form was previously we’ve had someone manually convert the address and bank fields from what was entered into the format required by the bank. This manual process was not ideal and prone to errors so to remedy this we are now validating the swift details directly on entry.

The validation that is required by our bank is very strict.

Each alphanumeric field can contain: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x yz 0123456789

Each numeric field can contain: 0123456789

So if you’re still having issues working out what your correct information is it would be best to check with your bank if you have any concerns about whether your swift details are correct.

Jason, the following letter is unavoidable in the address for some countries:

For example: 23/4 etc. Is that allowed in the future?

Unfortunately special characters such as * ( ) / & # . , ! are all not allowed by the bank.

Addresses like ‘23/4 Some Rd’ should be able to seperated either as ‘Unit 23 4 Some Rd’ or onto 2 seperate lines as
