Since I run Windows via Boot Camp and Ubuntu via Parallels I’d say, run with Boot Camp for Windows .. I’m only using XP for it now though, but I’ve tried Win7 as well – still runs faster than expected and it’s somewhat more stable imo ..

Good luck :)

cheers for the feedback guys, was away surfing for the wknd 8)

@doru, because that would cost another $2k which i’d rather spend more sensibly ;)

@Steve, is that 64bit Windows 7 or 32? I’d assume 64 since its an i7 but it is the mobile version…?

@dan, yeah they’re going well, its not going to be for a year or so though :)

32-bit Windows 7 Ultimate (It’s Core 2 Duo, not an i7 … but why would that make a difference? )

Do you feel the difference between 4 and 8gb???

Also, did you get applecare? I’m almost one year from my purchase date and I can’t decide whether or not to get applecare protection…

Yeah, they are both 64-bit capable but since I only have 4GB of ram (and don’t plan to get any more) there was nothing to gain from installing 64-bit Windows.

Haven’t recieved it yet but when running PS, Flash and AI I think i’ll likely notice it… same with 3D work… Unity and Maya will want more than 4gb…

Since i’m a lecturer I bought it through education and so I got 3 years of AC for £50… i’ve no idea if its worth it, will have to see if / when it goes wrong which I hope it doesnt :P
