What would we do about the site that has no option for DMCA /abuse report option?
I’ve reported support but to no avail. They won’t take the item down.

There’s an option to report files (if that’s what you mean):

No that’s not what I meant. I meant what we would do if we found one of our files being illegally shared on a site and that site has no DMCA /Abuse report link. Plus, you report the envato but don’t see anything happening.

I think he’s talking about bad sites. May be there’s a contact form or email on the site?
Yep. Bad links. But do you think contacting the admin of a site which has a sole purpose of distributing files illegally will take the file off if you request them. I don’t think so.

Yes, this is quite difficult. There are many websites which give files for free, but it’s almost impossible to get those files removed of these websites. I contacted Envato many times, but it had no influence on the websites. And it won’t help when you mail the admins of the websites I guess.
Send them email with warning that you will report they’re site to Google and Alexa if they don’t take the item down. If they ignore it or you can’t contact them, than just report they’re site.
You could also do a whois search and report them to their host is they don’t respond within a reasonable amount of time (tell them you will report the infringement to their host).
Of course if their host is a bit shady, the host may not do a thing to help you.
See here to report to google: http://www.google.com/dmca.html
I’ve seen such sites, reported it to the Author of the Files (Wordpress theme) here on Themeforest . . . but the Author never replied about it back to me.
No thanks or anything . . . hmmm, guess it didn’t matter to them.

If one discovers site’s distributing files from the marketplaces, report this our support team and they will take further actions!
If one finds a shady site, report it to Google if the site itself don’t have a DMCA Takedown Notice on the site! Google tend to be quite quick when it comes to DMCA notices. (from own experience)
Good luck!
Thanks for your suggestions everyone.
Patrik, I have reported GraphicRiver support on numerous occasions, but the reply is that I should send the DMCA takedown notice too. Which I did and as in the above case isn’t possible. Do you think it would be a bit more effective if the Envato itself reports the site to the Google than us individual authors? The site is causing massive damage to Envato but posting almost every popular file from across all the marketplace.
What is even more disturbing is that the site shows up on the top of google search list as soon as you type the tilte of a popular file. Can I forward you the link so that you can forward it to the support team with a bit of priority?
Thanks
