Well, I listen to almost all kinds of music (apart from dubstep, I hate dubstep, I get headaches when I hear it). In the morning, I usually listen to rock music (like AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, ZZ Top, Queen etc) or hip hop (Fort Minor, Roy Jones Jr. etc). When I work I like smooth/chillout music (classical, jazz, lounge, new wave, trip hop or soundtracks). In the evening, I sometimes listen to trance music (Armin van Buuren, Avicii) or old blues music.
I was watching pawn stars earlier, hendrix was only 28 when he carked it. Never knew that
I’m not fixed on a single genre, I listen everything sounds good to me.
The important thing is the rhythm: It can be an hardstyle song at 150BPM or a “lento” at 90BPM, a pop song… something rock, raggae or chillout.
However in the last period I listen a lot of trance: Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, ATB and many many others. Code with 2hrs of “A state of trance” in the headphones is a pleasure

Apart from dubstep I like Green day, Linkin park, Rise against and Blink-182.
