I had problems recently with FF, so now I’m getting used to Google Chrome. Do you have a history of changing browsers? What is the safest in your opinion?

BTW , ActiveDen uploading bar works much better with Chrome than FF:)

I havn’t had a bad experience so far with browser security, but as far as I know Firefox is the safest out there – if browser security is even relevant. You often see browsers advertising with their safety, but there’s not much difference really. Just get yourself good antivirus software and a firewall ;)

I have been using FF for the longest time. For security i use zone alarm pro. The 2 work well together.

Cheers

I use ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite + FF… Haven’t had any problems with firefox, except when a dodgy plugin makes something not work (firebug isn’t working in FF for me at all at the moment :( ) but still… FF FTW ,

Thanks guys for the replies, I may reconsider FF when a new version arrives. Maybe they’ll close the breach.

I had Kaspersky Internet Security (the latest version) telling me there was an attack by a worm called Helkern through FF :( Later on my PC didn’t want to load at all! So I cleaned up everything, re-installed Windows, and now using Chrome.

I love FF, its so handy especially together with Web Develloper’s add-on. I just need a working machine and would do everything to keep it that way. Never had problems with FF before thought :)

I’m using Safari most of the time, and FF for debug purpose only. :)

What breach?

Look at the post above :) I guess they had some breach if that kept happening, but not on Chrome and Safari.
