I just hope they paid for it. There’s an article over on gizmodo. http://gizmodo.com/5902961/north-korea-spent-a-whole-15-making-its-website though they seem less excited.
I seriously doubt they payed $15 for it.
Surely, they hired a developer who charged at least $5000.
Well, at least they paid $15. Our ministry of ecology paid $25,000 for site and some kids like me “hacked” it. They basically went to: site.com/admin and entered: user: admin pass: admin123 ….
Hahaha I just finished reading the article and came right over to see if anyone else saw it. Pretty great stuff. Whats nice is that it was actually posted on Wired, and Gizmodo just re-posted it. http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2012/04/north-korea-website/
The article makes using a template sound really negative. The site looks decent, they’ve not wasted a ton of money on something pointless, seems like a good idea to me!
Yeah I too don’t find the article tone appropriate. Is using TF templates for website creation “shameful” now? North Korea website actually looks pretty decent and much better than many other government websites, also glorious North Korea saved some money by using template as a starting point, great job igniteThemes!
