KarmaThemes is right – you must have the watermark visible.

That’s right! You can reuse that image for any item preview you make – however you cannot use that image for any other purpose than for item previews.

I have received this response from support when I asked same question through ticket earlier:

Thank you for your message to Envato support. If you purchase a Photodune file with a regular license for your preview only (and not in your download) then you’re using it once as stipulated by the license. Each time you use the image in a file preview, you must purchase another regular license.

What kind of watermark are you talking about? This thread is all about the watermarked previews on Envato marketplaces.

The only watermark preview you have access to is the main JPEG preview. Nothing like watermark in PSD .

I don’t know who answered you that but it’s not true for sure. How much time ago did you got this answer from them? Anyway below is your answer.

Yes! You may re-use the image you purchase multiple times irrespective of whether you purchase a Regular or Extended license. There is however a special stipulation to be mindful of: If the PhotoDune image is used or incorporated in a work, you may not reproduce any image more than 250,000 times in total. So for example, if your marketplace file sells more than 250,000 times, (a) congratulations, that’s a huge amount of sales and (b) you will need to repurchase the license(s) again for your next 250,000 sales.

That is what I’m talking about. There is only ONE type of watermark here and that is the official Envato watermark for approved items (i.e. item preview). And you cannot get the PSD – you only have access to the embeded JPEG preview watermark.
