I’m doing a good bit of development lately and realize that I need someone who is even more super freaky with code than myself 
Generally I am doing a lot of PHP work that requires someone capable of writing the advanced logic for high level object oriented structures. Often I’m having to dismantle someone else’s logic and rebuild it slightly to work just a little different to accommodate user interface changes. These are typically complex custom built systems and right now I’m in the middle of one that would be a much smoother process if I could focus more on the user interface while someone else does the code changes.
I’m hoping to find a long term partner that can work with me on a lot of projects. I have at least 3 major projects just sitting on my desk right now waiting to be turned into huge piles of cash, but as usual time is my enemy. A major issue for me is I’m a slow programmer although I’m good at it. What I need is someone I can trust to do the job right because I’m sick of going behind programmers and fixing all the mistakes they make. I’ve hired and fired 3 programmers in the last 9 months. I would rather partner with someone this time because I believe it will give them greater incentive to do a good job, knowing they will share in the profits.
Other stuff:
You must of course know HTML , and not the stuff from the 90’s where it’s all built with tables.
This person must also be a great JavaScript coder. I primarily work in jQuery.
As I said before super freaky coder, current focus on PHP and working with SQL /MySQL a must.
Other skills of interest:
- Java – I have some projects that are a little further out that would likely be in Java.
- GWT (Google Web Toolkit) – If you know Java and JavaScript you can do this too, but it’s something I think has potential for some major projects, although not immediately needed.
