Vector icons - Ai file for each icon wit hsmart objects in psd.. ok ?

Im creating an icon pack where I wish to include AI file for each icon.. with bound to phtoshop with smart object where all the icons are there in 1 .psd file….. is it allowed as a standard method ? or will it be rejected saying not accordance with the standards ? but that is how I like to increase the customizability

yes they are customizable vectors but the .Ai files layers are not properly structured.. I think it’s better to do it….. the icons are re sizable and what photo shop does is add them some nice effects with layerstyls . Any shape can be changed in the .AI file which will be opened by double clicking the smart object.
