Use footage for Video Preview with permission of their owner

Hi guys!

I want to ask something:

It’s possible use a footage from another source for Video Preview with the permission of the owner?

I ask this because I was using a footage from “24” with permission of their director in the video preview in my project.

wow this is pretty impressive but i think the director isnt the only right owner epsecially in hollywood

I mean is not directly extracted from the tv series but shows a character from the show.
