Thank you for reply. I found the mistake I made – I uploaded the model releases ZIPed when using FTP . If I upload them just as JPG , it works.

timarbaev saidI have the same problem. Could somebody help me, please? Thank you.
I’m upload some photos via FTP and put ZIP -file with MR to folder /model_releases As manual said. Huh, I’ve got ‘Processing Error’ and note:Release Forms must be a zip containing a ’.pdf’, ’.jpg’ or ’.png’, got a zip containing ’.zip’
Got a zip containing ’.zip’... Something interesting.
Now if I have completely missed the problem you are having, please let me know.
Hello fotografkagabriela let me see if I can help
Here are the steps to follow when uploading via FTP
(review detailed directions here)
After you have logged in, head on over to the bulk_import>photos folder. Now this is where you will place your sweet photos. If some of your photos require a model release, then simply add all that apply to the bulk_import>photos>model_releases folder.
Please note, model releases should NOT be zipped when using the FTP process.
Hi,
Thanks for the explanation, but for some reason I keep getting this error. I tried it zipped, unzipped, .jpg, .pdf…nothing works
I use Dreamweaver to upload and the folders are: /bulk_import/photos/ for the images /bulk_import/photos/model_releases/ for the releases
Kind regards, Richard

XebecheT, can you open up a Support ticket and let them know what you’re doing and what’s happening? It’s my guess that it’s something with the Dreamweaver upload process, but I’m not a tech, so don’t take my work for it
In the mean time you may want to try it using a standalone FTP program like FileZilla. Thanks!

I’d be surprised if it works, because they both do the same thing, but hey: Let’s give it a try

Hi Richard! Sorry you have encountered some issues. Hopefully I can be of assistance. First please tell me what error you are experiencing and when it is happening i.e. during the upload process or while processing the photos from the dashboard etc…
Thanks! – Josh

Hmmm OK, looks like you have no problems with the ftp process at all rather their is an issue with the model release portion… OK, can you try something for me? Based on the error you are getting, I am assuming you are uploading the model releases as a zip file (as it says you should) I think this is a mistake on our end and you should try one more time and this time do not zip the model releases, rather just place them all in the model_releases folder as a jpg, png, or pdf.
Now, if I am mistaken and you have not been uploading a zip file, please let me know.
Thanks for your patience

Hi guys,
I tried it again with your suggestions: I used FileZilla this time, and an unzipped release form, and it worked!
Strange though, that it didn’t work before, since I tried it the same way..
Never the less, it works
Thanks guys!

Hi XebecheT! Glad it worked for you and I apologize for the confusion… The good news is we are working on this process and hope to have something clearer in place sooner.
Thanks for sticking with us as we work through it
After many tries, I understand the photo and MRs upload process now … but it really could be a lot simpler, like with an “upload MR” button right under the photo upload button so it could be attached to the specific photo. Glad something easier is coming out soon!
I understand we can pile on all our MRs when we ftp but how would anyone (the reviewers) know which MR is for whom?
