In order to get this UK meetup a little close to happening we need somewhere to host it… I’ve tried to select the kind of cities that have major airports/rail/road networks near them. If you’re “extremely” north/south sorry it might be a trek, perhaps make a weekend of it?

To make things clear, when I typed Barcelona, I was joking, d’uh! I’m not against a meetup in the UK, I support it! Please, sometimes people should take things with a pinch of salt. 
To stay on topic, Birmingham sounds great, and flights from Europe to Birmingham are quite cheap.
