So, after a very close vote, and taking into account costs/Olympics/votes from people abroad who may not come, the location for the UK meetup is Birmingham.
Since most will be coming a fair distance we might as well try and meetup for most of the day and do something free in and around Birmingham whilst sitting with scones and tea (oh darling!) and then have a nice dinner later in the evening with some some drinks and just hang/geek out… 
Sooooo, when should we do this?? I think for obvious reasons a weekend will be best and likely the Saturday so that people can get there and get home…
If we go with August (what i’m suggesting with the date) it’ll allow everyone to hopefully get cheaper advance trains/hotels bookings etc… July is only just around the corner and quite soon… what does everyone think…?

Damn, I’m not going to be available on those dates… And irony is that the reason is I’ll be driving from Portugal to UK on holidays with family (wife and parents in law :P) to meet my other family (parents and brothers who live in there).
I’ll get on the road on the 10th of August and I’ll expect to arrive UK on the 14th (you know, safe driving with wife and parents in law).
Anyway MSFX , just because you asked, that’s just my 2cents on the matter. I really was looking forward for that meeting, but still
