CrackerJack saidwow, thx man
I’m in for $150. So what should the rules be? swf size limit? anything goes? Needs to involve Chuck Norris?
maybe we can just set a simple size limit like whole thing (swf+assets) zipped <= X Kb
Also we should decide if subject is free or not

What about something related with widgets?
Not something made in Air for desktop, but something to be included in any template of file, as a component. So anyone can use it for free (if we decide so) and give AD some exposure with the resulting files.
EDIT : if design is a main issue, i would not limit on file size.

Agreed, I think this time we shouldn’t limit anything except deadline.

I’d like to have some fun making something with audio. I also like Pez’s idea of freebies.

being sick of all the crying threads about flash on AD, i tought it would be a good time to make another unofficial flash competition
For the above mentioned reason, I don’t see a valid reason for making a competition; will just swallow potential author’s time. In otherwords serious authors would spend time on making Flash item rather than working for competition. May be official competions to boost certain hopeful categories could be some what understandable. Ofcourse a competition just for making fun would be different case but that doesn’t require a reason.
what about an as2 animation+scripts that can be compiled to html5 by Google’s swiffy properly?
tat means that content can run on all screens you can ever imagined.
