Hello everybody, anyone know if exist a plugin for twitter that take from a database and every day post online a tweet? I have a database of proverbs and i want tweet each day one of it. Regards

Although a website script or wordpress plugin would be nicer, as you wouldn’t have to have your computer on all the time.

Yes you can do so.
There is a wordpress plugin for it
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tweet-old-post/
It allows you to select from a category and publish to twitter .
It has automatic url shortner . You can also set interval in hours before it posts another on twitter.
I am using the same on couple of blogs and works great.

I could have a cron / php / mysql version of this setup pretty quick.
I created the twitterbotscript.com package that was pretty popular before twitter locked out everything that didn’t run on oAuth.

hi, thanks for you help.. i installed the plugin on an wordpress website…. i create a new categorie and i excluded all the others categories.. then i tries to insert a new post in categorie and i launch the app.. but was showed “no old post for this categorie” so.. 1) why? 2) how i can upload in wordpress 1.000 post (like a database import)

Hi,
As you said your create post and try to post it to twitter so age of post is 0 or say today.
Look for “Minimum age of post to be eligible for tweet: ” and enter 0 as value. and click tweet now button.
It will post.( Also make sure you have added your twitter account to this plugin).
Try experimenting it, I use it on several sites , and post 1 tweet an hour with any difficulties.
