Awesome work man, but keep it simple and easy to use. Remember that the WP interface is well known and buyers are used to it. Adding new ways of interaction is absolutely interesting and if well balanced they can make people life better.

Adding too much or customizing to much (see options panel that don’t use the wp look&feel) will force your buyers to study and understand something that they already know (imagine if every theme here had a different way to set it up)... remember, buyers don’t want to spend time to study, they want to pick your file and use it as they are used to, this is why wp themes sell so well.

There are many articles about user interfaces and this topic in general… just google about this.

Take my words as friendly suggestions and if one day jvanoel won’t want to work with you anymore send me an email!

just kidding jvanoel, don’t worry, you guys are making very nice themes and I’m sure you will have a great success here on TF

Tried to keep it as simple as possible, and the design will probably go through some improvements before the theme gets submitted.

And the user can use the default WordPress way of adding content or if he wants but he can use this one. So the decision is completely on the user on what he wants to use to add the content.

I’ll do a lot of studying UI soon for sure, since the theme after this one is going to be a bit way too flexible, so the UI has to be perfect and easy to understand

Are wp theme authors allowed to use the plugin in their own themes if they buy the extended licence and ask for permission? I can imagine some authors would like to include this

@redfactory – I think they are, noticed someone using Flipbook, but was rejected by Kailoon because “flipbook is known to be hard to use” or something like that and not because it’s not allowed.

I find that having your options panel customized is fine, but for things embedded into say “Edit Posts” page like this should keep the look and feel.

Who moved it to Item Discussions? It’s not an item yet
