Hello, the update queu is going anormally slow, i just had an item soft rejected because it was containing a logic temp file and reviewer prefer that i reupload the whole pack than just erase the useless file. i know my track gonna have 2 or 3 day more to be released. Very frustrating when we know that upload new track is the only way to have visibilty here.

What happen with the update queue?

I don’t know, I had file soft rejected some days ago, and it was approved in the same day… Probably your reviewer had some free days ?

I don’t know, but considering how slow it goes, i should have better reupload the track as new one than update it, it’s longer…and apprently, uploading a sound is veeery long.. You could think they take time to check copyright violation, but when you browse audiojungle 80% of sound fx are stolen from plugins, free or royaltie free soundbank.

Hi guys, it’s the same for all of us ! We all have to wait for files to be reviewed, be patient and I’m sure that your files will be approved as soon as possible, the reviewers do a hard job, try putting yourselves in their position, i uploaded a file four times before i got it approved when i first started, it was a drag but now hopefully i have learned by that experience until the next time, but generally 2-3 days is all it takes :)

As someone once said “it’s a marathon not a sprint”

Uploading new tracks certainly isn’t the only way to gain exposure. Proper keywords and collaborating with videohive authors are the most important aspects in my opinion.

Use the analytics tool and you can see where your track views are coming from and which tracks are getting the most exposure.

analytics.envato.com

Your tracks even get unique hits from google searches completely independent of the marketplace.

Im not positive but I don’t think the analytic tool tracks plays from the small flash player next to search results and on the home page.

Most people will agree that the best way to get sales is simply upload your best quality music and use proper keywords. Eventually those tracks get discovered and purchased.

@The secession Hi, what is the best way to collaborate with videohive authors ? Can you tell us what you do :)

As you are a raging superstar ! only joking :) But you have to admit that you are doing very well and i am very happy for you :)

You’ve worked very hard since you joined and you only get out what you put in. I would appreciate your foresight.

I hardly picture a sales coming from a customer who doesnt know any envato website yet. Since my simulation of royalty free music searching on google lead me everywhere but audiojungle. I’m still trying to figure out where the flow of people is coming from and how some item reached things like 900 sales. I first thought that was a featured ite things, but the ones from last week havent done a single sale. So i guess your right, its self promotion, then being in top files or top author.

Thats what i think, i may be wrong, i would like to know, thats all, every one knows good music isnt enough ;)
