wadim251185 saidThank you. Of course I’m not going to give up, but I’m starting to think “should I upload my tracks on this site??? – there are many others” I really like AJ, but I do not understand why he refuses money? For example, here is my track: http://audiojungle.net/item/be-happy-peppy-snappy/2274875
It makes no sense to take offense at criticism and failures envato. no one turned, the other are obtained. need to pursue and try to make music better than the original! Do not give up, this is one of the main rules of a musician!
wadim, tell me what he was worse than the “Live My Life” by metrolightmusic or “Your Little Planet Corp” by MusicPremium? The fact is that these tracks are always “Weekly Top Sellers” and therefore they are buying. But if the track is not purchased for the first time he lost in the other tracks, and will not be bought, even if it is just as good.
fxprosound saidThank you. I wrote this music is dedicated to Euro 2012 which will begin very soon. I just don’t have time to get my track to another site.
Hey sixthtulip! If I’m getting this type of rejection I’m telling to myself that this music is for special occasion and is beyond common, not original, commercial, mechanical, shallow and (put whatever you want) taste. Just upload it elsewhere or make it simple and upload once again
Thank you friends! I’m very important your support and your attention.
If I understand correctly – the reason for denial is that the file will not be actual after a week. But if Envato lacks the space on the server to store files I can delete my track in a week.
It sounds like the AJ upload system could use a feature for this type of cases.
Like, being able to optionally set an “Expiration Date” to a track when one uploads it.
2. “If you believe the work you did was good, then that is all that matters, UNTIL you are told otherwise.”
If you believe this, you’ll never be totally satisfied with your accomplishments/work. There will always be some guy who has had a bad day and decides to take it out on you by being a hater on your compositions. There will be people who are jealous of you, hate their own work, hate themselves, etc. and take that out on you by saying your work is bad, or the mix is wrong, etc.
I really like how this TED talk defines success : http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=0MM-psvqiG8
Its worth a watch.Don’t let other people determine your own happiness when it comes to your own work. If you did your best, you did your best. We can all learn and grow as people and musicians, but its not worth beating yourself up about.
Nice one, I agree, although I think you misunderstand my point, or I think I didn’t really elaborate enough on that particular point. I probably should have written ”...until you are told otherwise by PEOPLE YOU TRUST , OR THAT TRULY MATTER TO YOU ”
Its a wonderful thing, to be happy with your own work, (I personally don’t release anything I’m not happy with). Until you find that your music just doesn’t sell. I mean, that’s why we’re on audiojungle in the first place, to make money. And that’s what I meant by that second point. If it doesn’t reach or appeal to your target audience, its time to reevaluate and maybe do some adjustments.
Rejection is part of the game, and if we take it in the right way from people who we trust then it can only serve to make us better musicians.
Hey Sixthtulip, thanks for sending me the link. I can see why the curator rejected it because it is a little sporadic and inconsistent with sounds. However I’m sure if the curator saw the video with the music he would understand, and maybe approve it because the sporadic”ness” is needed for that type of video. It works great with the video, very well done man! But by itself it might seem odd. A lot of music for promos and television is like this. Your talented so keep going!

Thank you. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed it. The curator had not seen the video. What would you advise me to do, write to support and give them a link to the video?
sixthtulip, I have to say, that we are artists, and this is our biggest mistake, while we working here. This is just a business, unfortunately. And it was hard to admit it.. Now I am trying to work in this direction. And it`s goddmn hard:) much harder than being an artist. I mean being yourself.
