I thought I recognized him but then figured no way, that wouldn’t be allowed….

And the file actualy won a competition. I thought yeah ok… maybe this file is accepted because it is actualy interesting. But it was kind of a shock when it won. Sometimes it’s sad.

I am definitely hoping for a refund so I can go shopping for something that is an all-in-one solution. I really liked this project though so I am a bit sad that I won’t be using it. Ah well I am sure something great is waiting on me around here somewhere. I will have to be careful tho as it seems there are a few tricks when I’m looking for treats around here.

i don’t think that envato will refund the money if you have already downloaded the project they will not refund the money its the policy of envato.

Maybe it was questioned and it wasn’t actually Leonardo Di Caprio (just some lucky geezer who looks exactly the same!)

My 2 cents:

Here is how I see it – a buyer spends his money on an after effects project file (since this is what this website offers to sell..) and if not said otherwise this is all he is gonna get. Now the author of the particular file said in his file description that audio is not included. I cannot see where the element of surprise swoops in. If you are interested if the sound is free/can be used/is available/is legal – well drop a note to the guy before purchasing instead of now going through all this. Were you lied in some way, were you tricked? I am sorry but I will have to back up the author on this one and I am sure the support is most likely do to so. All the complaints would be well deserved if there was not note about the audio track.. and even so if you want to use it – it is your responsibility to ask for it. Again – we are selling “After Effects Project Files” and not “After Effect Project files with Soundtracks” I did not mean to offend anybody. Sorry for my crappy English.

but its written in description Music not included but after you purchase send me a PM i will tell you how to get it

The author not answering is another matter, what I do not agree with is being angry with him because he did not include it in the download or because he cannot supply license for use etc.. this is why he said “not included”. Crappy support calls for an unsatisfied client I agree.

The problem is he mentions you can obtain the audio simply by sending him a message. He does not say the file is not included due to licensing, etc. If he said those simple words I would have not purchased. Is it really that far fetched for a buyer to assume the audio that it is obviously built around is included or ontainable in some way? I have seen many link to audiojungle files which is fine…and others who have their own custom music. I just thought this guy wanted to try and keep the piracy low by having to pm him for the music. Turns out he pirated it?
