CU3ER sucks. Period. All the effects it has, can be achieved with jquery. I know how it can be done, i’m just not good at jQCan you show me a jquery slider with similar effects?This:

Sorry, there is no way you can create effects like cu3er uses in jquery with decent performance and cross browser compatibility. The new cu3er looks cool and I might end up using it in custom projects but I am happy as well that there is no way to embed it into templates any longer. Unfortunatley there is still the peacmaker slideshow and still we see templates with that slider poping up every second day. God bless people are no longer into that stuff ;D

No he is absolutely correct, there are no projection transformations in browsers(without which the cu3er transitions are not possible). You can semi-fake it with the use of css transformations but they are no where near efficient enough(let alone available in all browsers) to build a cross-browser slider/slideshow with.

I’ve seen truly stunning things with HTML5 and Canvas for example, and I am pretty sure there do exist most of the functions to create a similar slideshow. But yet, performance is an important factor and all of the great stuff I have seen either didn’t work on older browsers at all, or if they worked they sucked completly with a 3fps performance

I cannot show you because none exists. I “know” how it can be done. but because i almost suck at jquery, i cannot make it. Yes it wont be PERFECTLY like cu3er, it’ll be different, and it’ll be heck heavy!
