frankly those new splash screens suck big time. No balance in those squares and blurry shapes.

the icons are practical, just some squares and two characters, nothing outstanding but at least they work.

Adobe thinks I can’t recognize and memorize couple of icons yet I have no trouble identifying hundreds of icons from different applications I have or had installed on my system (not counting games ) at some point

like look at this mess, it will never get approved for sale on this marketplace

Sorry to say but all other splash screens look great.

No need to be sorry I’m not trying to impose my personal opinion on anyone.

I’m agree with Doru. Overall design feeling is poor, imho.
Doesn’t look like top notch, and it should do.

the comments on the article are fantastic from designers trashing the “full year” of work for an entire team to release trash like they have.

I personally think the colors / readability and identity is very poor.

But then again I’m not the biggest fan of anything Adobe do – they lack severe competition and have for many years.

I installed it, and now will uninstall it. The interface is horrible.

I also dont like new splash screens they should have gone with metro style splash screen

And the fonts are bad, that is why i said that the interface is horrible.

CS5 splashes were much better. Why did they change screens and icons anyway? Nothing better to spend money on? Also, new layer stack is horrible and has issues with thumbnails for shape objects (barely can see color due to that new icon in the corner).
