Textures for 3D World Magazine

I have submitted mine to the form now!

We have 10 so far. I just got word from 3D World magazine that we can add models to the package as well, so please feel free to use this link to submit them. I am waiting on a reply to find out if we have more time to still make it for this months issue or if we can instead submit for next month. Keep in mind though that your items need to be on 3DOcean to be accepted into the package. There are a couple of texture submissions from GraphicRiver hat will not be included.

I submitted a texture already and I just put a model up to, one question tho how many are we aloud to put forward for consideration?

How many models and textures do we need?

Moin Matthias, hi guys. I’ve got a texture I’ve made for graphic river, and I think it should work on 3d ocean as well. But I have a couple of questions – does the res need to be a “power of 2” ie 256, 512, 1024 etc? Also, does it need bump and specular maps included? Cheers!

Short answer is YES … create the texture using the power of 2!

It is not necessary to include the specular or normal maps but it is nice if you can… Hope this helps… Cheers!

Ah I forgot about this, I submitted some stuff. when is the deadline for this and when will we find out if out items have been accepted.
