I would not worry about the monitor size. Average monitor size is around 19-20 inch. It looks great on my 24 widescreen. Also if smaller monitors have the resolution set higher it will also be ok.

Cheers

The template isn’t resizable… so… the contents are taking so much space in width that are hard to be viewable also with my 15” Mac Book Pro.

I think you should use swffit to have scroll bars on lower resolutions, in that case (13 to 15 screens) you would have an horizontal scroll bar…

It doesn’t fit less than 1400px wide. I don’t know the specifics of the template but I’d try to get it down to 1024 if possible as a lot of people use that resolution. Otherwise you can use sfwFit or force scrollbars with CSS using min-width and min-height.

How can you do a full layout web site with no re-size i don’t get it and most laptop are 15”

The pro approach is to make your entire object dynamically re-size its better approach then P&K i think but it require you to do lots of modification on the code for nice fit on any monitor but it’s not that bad since you have only 10-11 objects i think ,but still it’s a pain after your project is done.

Advice working on full layout web just make a Bg resize background to mark your boundary when working with object layout so when testing you know where you stand

Well, the swffit is a solution, I don’t think that he wants to recode everything to make it liquid.

Then, for my very little experience, if you don’t want to make a site completely liquid at least a developer/designer should make the layout fit at lower resolutions…

Contain it in a movieclip. Give flash a noScale, the give it image ratio resize code. It will work. Tried in the past.

If you scale the whole thing then all the pixel fonts would look blurry… I wouldn’t do that.
