well! i created a browser plugin that helps us do Item Headers and Footers quicker!
This extension asks you for some header and footer code, then it simply takes you to each one of your items edit pages. It automatically adds your header/footer code to the item description, you can review the change and if you are happy with it you can manually click save changes. After saving it moves onto the next item, repeat…
it puts the header/footer code in their own <div />'s so it can automatically replace old header/footer with new ones later on.

here is all the source code:

here is the extension you can add to google chrome (might also work in firefox?)

enjoy!
edit: now i just need some nice “follow” graphics to put on my items. were there some freebies floating around?

some freebie buttons under “Promotion” in this wiki article, I’m sure there are others out there too

perfect! I used my dodgy graphical skills to create some buttons – and added them to most of my codecanyon portfolio items in a minute or so
i’ve modified the script so that <a href="full_screen_preview"></a> links in the header/footer are automatically converted to the live preview link. this way I can have a unique live preview button in each of my item pages.

here is a screencast showing how it functions:<div />'sso it can automatically replace old header/footer with new ones later on.
