[Suggestion] Item Descriptions - Master Header & Footer

Hi guys, time and time again, I’ve noticed that authors often choose to add the same banners and thumbnails to their item descriptions, as a way of advertising similar items, follow me buttons, etc.

As many of you know, currently, this has to be done one description at a time, which means more time invested in something that we can probably find a shortcut to.

In an attempt to do just that, here’s a suggestion, a Master Header & Footer option:

This would be automatically applied to all item descriptions in your portfolio.

Now, I know some people, intentionally, do like to change one or two things depending on the item, but there could be an option to edit descriptions individually as well.

Anyway, it’s just a suggestion. If anyone has anything else to add, please feel free to contribute with feedback.

Love this idea, don’t know how hard it’s be for the Devs to implement, but would love to see it at some point in the future.

I don’t know about others, but the upload process for me is a draag, so having options like this to simplify the process and more importantly make it quicker, would always be welcomed

Yes, an excellent idea, and is worth drawing on resources to make a reality!

The only problem is, I have seen at least 5 posts on AJ alone asking for the same thing.

Hi Tim, I didn’t mean to claim this idea as my own in any way. Woke up this morning and thought it was worth mentioning, as it makes perfect sense and would highly benefit fellow authors across all marketplaces. My apologies if it seemed different, maybe I should have researched the forums thoroughly prior to running the risk of sounding repetitive and unoriginal.

The intent has always been to speak up and hopefully evoke better author conditions/resources. I remain highly optimistic. Cheers.

Envato devs have been successfully ignoring this type of idea for as long as I’ve been on envato network sites Hopefully you have better luck that us old timers have had!
