Suggestion for a file marker

There’s been a lot of files being uploaded recently with After Effects text and images dropped over a 3D pre-rendered background.

I think that this is perhaps confusing to some buyers. Not that it makes much of a difference to the end product and not that most buyers a remotely interested in changing camera positions…

But still, it might be a good thing to have a “3D is prerendered” none / some / all

Prerendered footage: Yes/No/Some

And also prerendered plug ins would be cool:

Prerendered plug ins: Optical Flares, Particular etc…

Pre-rendered info would be nice.I would go for:

"Includes pre-rendered footage : YES / NO"

For the plugins you could add:

“Requires Plugins : YES / OPTIONAL / NO”

Most of the explaining would still need to be done in the description,and i would like to see the info box kept as simple as possible.

Just “pre-rendered footage” Y/N might be a bit simple though. You may build a whole world in AE3D , then use a pre-rendered lens flare and hey presto! everyone assumes the lot is a pre-render.

Better might be a description box with “pre-rendered elements”: where you simply type in which parts are pre-rendered.

And a second “optional pre-renders” for plug-in pre-renders etc.

Well my main concern is that many buyers don’t read the info box,so that’s why i would like to keep the information in there as simple as possible and get the details out in the main description.
