Ever since i joined Behance i have been getting a whole lot of nonsensical spam comments on my blog from jewellery and shoe sites! Is this normal? I don’t really want to keep a blog anymore anyway but i’m curious how this happens.

What blog software using? I assume WordPress? There are some good antispam plug-ins and you just need to do some cleaning from time to time. There is no way around spam.
I’ve set up quite a few WordPress blogs in my time and even hidden test blogs which have never been made public or linked to from anywhere get a good share of spam comments.
Cheers
