There is nothing to complain. If we need to see variety, the only possible way is to try spending time for doing it on our own work, no other ways![]()
Well, that’s a very drastic way of looking. What if think that film industry is not creating such nice movies as past years? Make my own great monvie? My point of view of this thread was as someone that has spend many years surfing the net, discovering great campaigns aplied to internet market, many companies putting big efforts on making the design a must in their net strategy. Is not like i’ll need to create all the things i miss on the internet (design talking), in fact, as a normal designer, i’m not able to reach really high levels, that’s why i love to say WOW , when i see an impressive, innovative and original site. Those wow(s) has dropped in huge percent since marketing rule the net. In fact, my latest WOW has been related with Google maps and geolocation.

^ I mentioned that as we (almost everyone on the forum) are insiders (web designer/developer) and not just being internet users. It would be unreasonable if conveyed to a non-developer.
Secondly, the solution is more related to how much time the developers can spend with the page design. In most cases we know designers/developer themselves will tend to make the design more relevant, unique but the problem is with time available to do such things. So it is not about unawareness of developers on repeating stuff but practical constraints / benefits which convinces them to follow the so called trends and standards to stay safer side with less time spent. That is understandable.
