Site Wide Stats For Authors

It would be nice if there was some kind of basic stats about the marketplaces as a whole for authors or maybe just elite authors. Nothing extremely technical but even traffic stats would really come in handy. For instance this month has been a rough start on CodeCanyon and from the forums it looks like a lot of others are bleeding traffic as well. It would be nice to know everyone has lost half their item traffic and not just me

That only gives you stats for your own items…

So for instance when the first week of the month shows traffic and sales at a decent drop, it would be nice to have something else to compare it against like say the total traffic on CodeCanyon. If the site had done a million more page views or something in the same time it would make since that the marketplace as a whole is just slowing down or if there is something else going on.

Maybe June will begin the summer slow down

I havent been on the marketplaces for over a year, so I dont know the hot and cold points of the year in terms of sales. But I can only assume june is so slow to begin with, due to the summer holiday for so many countries at once. A fair amount of American schools have gotten out, I think India is on holiday, and loads of other places are going for vacation. That very well could contribute i think?

I hope all summer isnt like this, because my sales are quite slow!!

I know what you mean, last month was amazing and then all of a sudden June starts at half. Very strange.
