I just joined but this is insane. How do I shut down my account & remove all my data from the site? There seems to be no information on shutting down an account whatsoever. Help appreciated, thanks.

Hi R3plicant, I’m sorry you feel this way. Whatever the cause may be, all technical account issues should be addressed to Envato Support . Good Luck.

I was patient back in 1995 when I, (miraculously), passed & finished my photography course. Look where that got me: nowhere, I was technically crap, had no money, never really knew what I wanted to do in life – and now here I am in 2011, with no money, and I’m STILL getting nowhere! A CV I wouldn’t wipe my ass with, a deep rooted & vehement hatred of studying & educational establishments & the despising of a loathsome, almost ‘pestilent’ life ever since I can remember. No matter what the fk I do, I just CANNOT get anything right. I’m CRAP at Graphic design, I’m CRAP at games, I’m crap at music, I’m crap with women, I’m crap with life, crap with people, crap with ANYTHING I do. I’m sorry I wasted your time folks. Happy designing and making money, I can’t stand this st any more I really can’t.

I’m CRAP at Graphic design

Well, before jumping to final conclusions, how about giving authors here from the community a chance to help you out? Post some of your work in Item Discussion and I’m sure everyone will do their best to give you some guidance.

We may not be able to help you with all aspects of life, but one thing people here can do for you, myself included, is help you with design. You are more than welcomed to give it a try. If you want help, all you have to do is ask for it. Cheers.

Sorry to hear that R3plicant. Still your grasp of the english language looks a lot better than many people in Britain, so you can’t be bad at everything! I’m not in a great situation either, I’ve let stress rule my life for a couple of years, so I don’t have a proper job. And in that time the job market has gone down the drain. I’m also unlucky with women, I can count up many sad failures over the years :) I hope you at least enjoy some creative work as a hobby. I still get quite a bit of enjoyment from doing music, even though it’s making me almost no money :) Also at least it’s spring and getting warmer on this wind-swept island!

You seem to be in a bit of a dark place right now, stay positive and do something you enjoy.

If you enjoy graphic design, then stick around – this is pretty much one of the best places you can be if you enjoy design but don’t think you’re any good at it.

As for being crap with women, I didn’t know their was any kind of alternative! :nerdy:

You’re in Glasgow right? No chance :p

Yep, the good days in Glasgow are the ones when you can go outside without almost being beaten to death by a hale storm :D If you’re a southern jessy then you can’t handle it :p

Like Philmo said, making good creative things is a lot of work so you have to choose something you really enjoy.

I think the community here on envato is really good, it’s a good place for lost creative people.

I just checked the items you’ve submitted and I have to say, it ain’t that bad! It’s got potential and clearly, so do you! Stick around for a while, practice on techniques, learn from the community and you will succeed.

We have a great community here with a lot of helpful authors, some who’s been in the same situation as you. When it comes to being crap with women, well, not really sure if we can help with that part but we can try!

I for one would love to see you stick around, let us help you and you will become better over time. It won’t happen over night I’m afraid but it will happen sooner or later, with it, items approved and sales will come your way.

Good luck and make sure to stay, we will help you! :)

Edit: On a sidenote, almost every author have had some rejections, even the top-selling ones. So you are not alone with getting rejected, belive me, I got a few rejections myself-and I’m a reviewer. So you see, everyone can get rejected, be it for silly mistakes or poor quality, it won’t matter in the long run, with an approved item one’s confidence will rise!

Getting rejected can be a major bummer. My last item I submitted I put a lot of time and tears into and it got rejected and was told not to re-submit it. Since then I’ve hit a total creativity and energetic block and haven’t even tried to make something. Just hang in there and hopefully a lightbulb will click and you’ll get a good idea to pursue.
