Not sure if this is the right place to post this. Once I’ve set up my Opencart template and everything is in working order. How do I set up my shopping cart? Is that something that has to be set up with a bank or paypal etc… It doesn’t just work automatically does it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, G

Hi glennerd,

Once you have added your products, shipping, countries you wish to ship to etc, then you have to decide what payment processor to use to accept money from customers. Paypal is the most obvious choice, there is an option to insert your PayPal username into this payment method in the backend.

If you want to accept credit cards on the site yourself, then you need an SSl cert (to protect your customers details), a business bank account (for all your money) and a payment processor (such as WorlddPay or Authorize.net to actually process the orders and send the money to your bank account).

Hope this helps, Keith
