Or is it?

As I read the rules I understand that we can’t sell existing product mockups …

I quote: “The file must NOT include patented and trademarked product designs such as music players, computers, cars, toys and so on. For example: You cannot use an iPod, iPhone or Ferrari in your file, even if you have recreated it, photographed it, or altered it.”

How come I already saw a few files not following this rule (Western digital drive, iMac, apple keyboard, etc)?

Those files don’t specifically label there products as brand names. For example the Apple keyboard is called an aluminum keyboard and does not have a trademark or logo anywhere. Although its pretty obvious, it doesn’t infringe on any trademarks. From what I understand anyways.

Ive made a few of those files :p But like xkey said the logos and trademarks are not used.

I’ve just googled for ‘stock icons’ and the first one I went to was selling icons that looked identically like some new model cars but they did not have any trademarks on them.

We’ll see what happens when the Site Manager or Moderator comes across this post.
