Second rejection - need feedback

My theme: SmartPress got 2nd rejection today. Please give me a feedback. Reviewers said:

“We’re sorry, your item SmartPress – Responsive Magazine Theme has not been approved for sale on ThemeForest. This is the reason given by our item inspector:

Your template does not provide a unique enough design to compete in the marketplace at this time.

I know it’s frustrating to be rejected citing uniqueness but recently, we’ve gotten a large number of template with the same overall concept and presentation and we have to draw the line somewhere.

I think we’re reached a point of saturation. At this point, we’re only looking for unique variations of this design: for another one to be approved it would have to have a couple of unique touches and features that differentiate it from what’s already available and definitely be of higher quality.”

Huh this is gonna be hard, since in my opinion it doesn’t lack the design fines, overall uniquenes of the template as they say is the problem… maybe you should focus on the elements , more detailes, since i know its kind of crapy to go from scrach killing the concept.

Personaly, it kind of boders me, the blokines of everything i mean everything is so orderly in its own box… and that gives it a bit plane effect.

It’s cool but i think the red background for the header is to much maybe do the same as the darker background. also i would add some hover animations or effects in the blog and on the images.

That’s pretty much it.

You mean small icons (link, photo, video) on the thumbs when mouseover? I knew that but want to keep it clean for a magazine. May be I’ll do it.

@mafloral: My theme come with unlimited colors, but they said “not unique”, I think they dont interested to my theme because my mentions few months ago.
