Sales Twitter Notifier

I’ve built a quick web app which will send you a direct message (private) on Twitter every hour informing you if you’ve made any more money
eg. “Your new Envato Marketplace balance (account: danharper) is $205.65 (a difference of $10)”

Just add in your username, API key (go to Account -> Edit -> API Key) and your Twitter username. Be sure you’re following salesnotifier to receive the updates.

This is built with Envato’s new API (thanks dev team!), and the source code is in this topic if you want to host your own version/improve it/tweak it etc.

Your data will not be shared; and I hold the right to take down the service, without prior notice, if problems occur.

Wow, cool! Thank you! I will test it, but will be better if it send an e-mail.

I was going to just make it email, but wanted to try out using Twitter. (Twitter can also forward any direct messages to your email address.)

Also just realised I need to add in some sort of duplicate account detection

Sounds cool, a little annoying to get an update for every subscribed member but no big deal.

Our first run just went through fine and everyone following salesnotifier got their first balance notification.

You will not receive the direct message if you aren’t following our account (Twitter’s limitation – not ours).

(Updates run every hour, on the hour.)
