I think each different category goes to different reviewers and some categories wil be more popular than others :)

okay, so how does the popularity of the item affect its review process speed, or could it have to do with item complexity or…?

I’ll just chip in here, even though I’m in the middle of a move for the moment (just got my internet back & my office is nearly complete) :)

We reviewers have different categories assigned to us, a couple reviewers on GraphicRiver reviews for a couple of other marketplaces as well. But we try to keep it to a minimum of 48h or less, though in certain cases it might take a bit longer, file error, bug reporting, etc..

It has nothing to do with popularity or complexity of the files, though some complex files might take longer to download we still aim to have them reviewed within 48h of submission.

Since yesterday GraphicRiver are tad low on staff for a couple of days, I’m in the middle of move and trying to get things organized at our new home for a few more days, and a couple of other reviewers are off as well, due to various reasons. But rest assured, the one’s we have on will be reviewing like they’ve never reviewed before and I have full confidence that they will handle the que’s without any problems at all ;)

thank you PatrikL,

i was hoping to hear from a reviewer point of view and you have just done it, well you are so right about that i think systems do go wrong this and that, i feel you guys do a great job in your reviewing process. About the stuff part, why cant GR get more people to work on the files faster? and how can someone become a stuff.

Regards. chiko

Well, situations like this is very rare and we have a full team of reviewers for the moment. If and when we’re looking for another staff member we do a post on Notes, in the forums and possibly in the FreelanceSwitch Job Board. It all depends on what type of staff we’re in need off. All you pretty much need to do is to keep your eyes open for a forum announcement or a post on Notes.
